One of the main attractions of Stanley is the Nut, a 152 meter high, long extinct volcanic caldera on the edge of the coast. You can catch a chair lift or walk up to the top of the Nut for some amazing views of Bass Strait and the coastline of NW Tasmania.

  • Take a tour of Rocky Cape National Park, visit the Seaquarium and walk around beautiful Allendale Gardens, the Discovery Centre, Joe Lyons Cottage, Woolnorth wind farm and cattle station, go bushwalking on the many trails or go surfing at Marrawah.

  • Take a leisurely boat cruise down the Arthur & Pieman Rivers and explore the beauty of Tasmanias' old growth temperate rainforests.
